Maggie Thompson grew up in Waiawa, New Zealand, and, after many years living in the heart of London’s Soho, she returned home to open a bookshop. In the rural town of her childhood she lived a peaceful life until the death of her childhood friend, Lawrence.
As she investigates his death, the amateur investigator hidden within Maggie awakens. Once the genie is out of the bottle it can’t be put back, and Maggie enthusiastically inserts herself into a series of events in her home town and beyond.
Along with her dog Marple, niece Clara, and the members of the Mystery Book Club, Maggie investigates wrong doings with enthusiasm, and sometimes with a cavalier disregard for her own safety.

When Izzy agreed to take Basia from post-apocalyptic Hampshire back to early twentieth century London, she had no idea of the political powder keg she was walking into.

Basia had agreed to her soulmate’s dying wish for her to carry on his work uniting the people on war torn Hampshire, England. Not ready to take on that responsibility, she took Time Guardian Sigma’s advice and has gone back in time to learn about women’s role in social change from Time Fixer Izzy.
The two girls are in London for less than a day when their plans are derailed. Amidst violence and public outrage against them, advocates for women’s suffrage are marching to London, and Izzy is sent to Winchester to cover part of the march for a newspaper.

Will they find out who The Wizard and Warrior really are? And will they do it in time to stop the coming invasion?

Instead Aliah channels all her energies into becoming the best warrior she can be, and Seamus wonders why they are even bothering given they are doomed to fail: he even goes as far as to call their group “mice nibbling at the feet of a giant.” With a spy in their midst, the defence of Hand to organise, not to mention a mountain of scrolls to read through, can the Wizard and the Warrior free Aria from the greatest threat it has ever faced?
